Demetria M. Bolden, PhD, MBA is an Assistant Professor in the Division of General Internal Medicine at the University of Colorado Anschutz. Dr. Bolden is a communication scientist, dissemination and implementation (D&I) scholar, and vascular disease researcher whose work focuses on improving cardiovascular and vascular health outcomes. Her research examines racial and ethnic disparities in cardiovascular disease, advances chronic disease self-management, and applies mixed-methods approaches to the design and implementation of pragmatic clinical trials.
Bridging clinical research, communication science, and industry experience, Dr. Bolden leverages her background in corporate strategy and marketing to enhance patient-centered engagement, intervention uptake, and the real-world impact of evidence-based vascular care. Her work is driven by a commitment to advancing health equity and improving outcomes for populations disproportionately affected by vascular disease.
