Benjamin S. Brooke, MD, PhD, FACS, DFSVS, is a Professor of Surgery, Biomedical Informatics (Adjunct), Population Health Sciences (Adjunct), and Chief of the Division of Vascular Surgery at University of Utah Health. Dr. Brooke also helps lead surgical outcomes and health services research efforts in the University of Utah’s Department of Surgery and as an investigator in the IDEAS 2.0 Center of Innovation at the VA Salt Lake City. His research aimed at improving the quality of care delivered to patients undergoing vascular interventions has been funded by grants from the National Institutes of Health, PCORI, Veterans Health Administration, and the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology
