Vascular Surgery
Dr. Chandra is a Clinical Professor of Surgery in the Division of Vascular Surgery at Stanford. In addition, she is the program director of the Vascular Surgery Fellowship and Vascular Surgery Residency Programs and the co-medical director of the Stanford Advanced Wound Center. She is also the founder of the Stanford Extremity Preservation Program (StEPP). Dr. Chandra’s clinic and research interests include limb salvage, technology development, and optimizing treatment for complex open and endovascular approaches to peripheral vascular and aneurysmal disease. Dr. Chandra has authored more than 90 articles and reviews in peer-reviewed and non-peer reviewed journals as well as many book chapters. She has presented her work around the world at many regional, national, and international conferences and symposia. In addition, she holds several patents from her entrepreneurial work. Dr. Chandra is a proud member of The VIVA Foundation's Board of Directors.
