Interventional Radiology
Dr. John Moriarty is a specialist in cardiovascular and interventional radiology at UCLA. He is a Health Sciences Clinical Professor in the departments of Radiology and of Medicine (cardiology), and serves as the Vice Chair (Clinical Research) of the Department of Radiological Sciences at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA.
Dr. Moriarty is a national and international leader in the field of venous thromboembolism, DVT, PE and clot management. He has led several large international trials in this area, given over 200 invited lectures, published over 100 papers, book chapters, and been recognized with awards such as LA Top Doc. He has leadership roles several national societies dedicated to PE, DVT and Interventional Radiology.
