Ascension Sacred Heart, Pensacola, Florida
Interventional Cardiology
Dr. Zola N’Dandu earned his medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School in 2001, following completion of his undergraduate studies at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia. He completed residency and fellowship training in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, and Interventional Cardiology at Ochsner Health in New Orleans, including an additional dedicated year in Peripheral Vascular Disease in 2009.
In 2023, Dr. N’Dandu transitioned from his role in Kenner, Louisiana, after 12 years to St. Augustine, Florida, where he continued to advance cardiovascular and peripheral vascular care. In 2026, he relocated to Pensacola to pursue a compelling opportunity to further his work in a multidisciplinary tertiary care setting, focusing on patients with peripheral arterial disease (PAD), particularly those with chronic limb-threatening ischemia (CLTI).
His work is dedicated to preventing unnecessary amputations, with a strong emphasis on early access, advocacy for underrepresented minorities, research, and innovation in the treatment of peripheral arterial disease (PAD). His clinical and academic interests focus on advancing infrapopliteal and inframalleolar interventions, with expertise in deep venous arterialization (DVA) and anti-proliferative therapy as novel limb-salvage strategies. His goal is to expand treatment options for patients with chronic limb-threatening ischemia and limited alternative options facing imminent amputations.
