Interventional Radiology
Dr. Angle is Professor and Director of Interventional Radiology at the University of Virginia. He is a fellow of the SIR and ACR. His clinical and research focus includes peripheral artery disease, aortic dissection, and venous thrombembolism. His group has been a clinical site for over 50 device trials ahd he has been the national PI for industry funded trials. He has published over 200 peer-reviewed manuscripts, 200 abstracts and 37 book chapters. He has been an invited speaker for over 400 presentations. He has been faculty at the University of Virginia since 1992, after having completing his fellowship there under Charles Tegtmeyer and Alan Matsumoto. He is proud to have helped train over 150 fellows.
