Eri Fukaya, MD PhD is a Vascular Medicine specialist at Stanford University.
Dr. Fukaya started the Stanford Vascular and Vein Clinic and treats advanced venous disease patients at the Advanced Wound Care Center. She serves as the fellowship director for the Vascular Medicine Fellowship Program and maintains an active clinical and didactic teaching role for a multidisciplinary group of residents and fellows.
Dr. Fukaya's clinical and research interests includes understanding the genetic underpinnings and pathophysiology of chronic venous disease, evaluating the epidemiology and diagnostic approaches to venous leg ulcers, working with societal groups to increase vascular disease awareness and access to care, and incorporating clinical interventions to utilize mobile health with information technology.
