    Dr. Aditya Sharma is a vascular medicine physician and clinical researcher with expertise in peripheral vascular diseases. Dr. Sharma serves as Director of Vascular Medicine, Director of the Venous Thromboembolism (VTE) Center of Excellence, and Co‑Director of the Vascular Laboratory at the Sanger Heart and Vascular Institute, Advocate Health, in Charlotte, North Carolina. Dr. Sharma is also a Professor of Cardiovascular Medicine at the Wake Forest University School of Medicine.
    At the national level, Dr. Sharma is the President‑Elect of the Society for Vascular Medicine and serves as Chair of the Vascular Scientific Sessions 2026. Dr. Sharma is actively involved in the development of multiple evidence‑based guidelines and consensus statements in collaboration with national vascular societies. With more than 120 peer‑reviewed publications and numerous book chapters in vascular medicine, Dr. Sharma also serves as a reviewer for leading cardiovascular journals and is a frequent invited speaker at national and international cardiovascular and vascular conferences.
