    Kathleen J. Ozsvath, MD, is a board-certified vascular surgeon. Her practice provides comprehensive vascular services, with diagnosis and treatment of peripheral arterial disease, stroke, aneurysm, and venous disease. Venous treatments include sclerotherapy, phlebectomy, and endovenous therapy, bothe deep and superficial. She also has extensive experience in wound care. She is a member of the St Peters Vascular Associates and Chief of Surgery at Samaritan.
    Dr Ozsvath earned her medical degree at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Dallas. She completed a surgical residency, a surgical research fellowship, and a chief residency at St. Luke’s - Roosevelt Hospital Center (now known as Mount Sinai St. Luke’s and Mount Sinai West), affiliated with Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, New York, NY. She then completed a vascular surgery fellowship at Albany Medical Center, NY.
    A fellow of the American College of Surgeons, Dr Ozsvath has been an active member, committee chair for multiple medical societies, including the Eastern Vascular Society (past president), the International Society of Women Vascular Surgeons (surrentl President) the Society for Vascular Surgery, and the American Venous Forum (surrently Vice President). In addition, she serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Vascular Surgery. She has published many papers and book chapters on vascular disease. She has lectured at many local, regional, national and international Congresses.
    Dr. Ozsvath is mother to a beautiful daughter, Elizabeth Bernardini.
