    Dr. Kathleen Gibson is a board-certified vascular surgeon in practice at Lake Washington Vascular Surgeons in Bellevue, Washington. She graduated with highest honors at the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle. She performed her residency in General Surgery, her Fellowship in Vascular Surgery, and her undergraduate education in Chemical Engineering at University of Washington.

    Dr. Gibson currently serves as President of the American Vein and Lymphatic Society and is a distinguished member of the American Venous Forum

    Dr. Gibson has authored or co-authored multiple articles for journals such as Journal of Vascular Surgery, Phlebology and Journal for Vascular Ultrasound as well as several book chapters. She has presented at many scientific conferences in the United States, Europe, Asia, and South America, and has been the principal investigator for more than forty one clinical trials.
